The Academy is an online trading course in seven sections — from your first chart to your own trading plan. The programme spans about a month, but the pace is yours — and every step is marked instantly.
Two sections on Edge — the house tool for probabilities and levels — are on the way, and are included when they open.

How a step works
A step is not a video you watch. It is an exercise you click your way through, and the school knows whether you answered correctly. The answer key never leaves the server — the lesson is sent without the correct answers, every answer is marked server-side, and the points cannot be tampered with.
The chart you read is drawn by the school itself from numbers — 18 patterns such as trend, stop sweep, double top and engulfing — plus six calculation diagrams for risk/reward, position size, spread, leverage, equity curve and decay. The picture can therefore never contradict the number beneath it.
Correct on the first attempt gives 10 points, the second 5, the third 0. Never negative. The points take you through six ranks — Novice, Chart Reader, Craftsman, Survivor, System Trader and Master.
Boss exams and the final
Six of the sections end with a boss exam in three parts: a theory test drawing broadly from the whole section, a scenario test where each question continues the same story, and a third that alternates between chart, calculation and calendar. The exams are built against the entire section, so when you pass one you know it has really stuck.
The seventh section ends in the final exam: the master test in theory with questions from all six earlier sections, a scenario running across a full trading week, a chart test — and last, two steps where you write freely. Powell goes through your trading plan and challenges it point by point, then delivers his verdict: from your first candlestick to a complete trader.
The Entry Check — where you begin
Before the course you take the Entry Check: 24 questions across chart reading, markets and platforms, risk management, the daily work of trading, and equities. Seven are image questions where you pick the right chart among three that look alike. Ten show the formula in words without numbers — the test measures whether you can use it, not whether you remember it.
It is a real test, not a warm-up — so you find out where you actually stand. Most people get fewer right than they guessed, and that is the whole point. You are not expected to know anything beforehand.
Common questions
What does the trading course cost?
Nothing to get started. When you join TNBT, which is free, the Entry Check and the first module are included, and you get a lot more than the academy: see what is included. The rest of the course unlocks with TNBT Premium, with no lock-in.
Do I need prior knowledge?
No. The course starts at step 1 for everyone, whatever happened on the Entry Check, and the first section assumes nothing.
Is the course self-paced or on fixed times?
The programme spans about a month, but you set the pace yourself. There are no class times and no group to keep up with — you open the next step when you want.
What does TNBT stand for?
TNBT stands for Trading Network by BazemTrader. It is the network built around BazemTrader's own trading: a trading academy, ongoing market analysis and a community where members trade together.
What is Powell?
Powell is TNBT's AI coach and BazemTrader's second brain, an AI that specialises in trading. He follows the market in real time, with prices, levels and news from the house's own data feeds. He runs on the latest technology from Anthropic, OpenAI and Perplexity and is continuously trained by BazemTrader and TNBT. In the academy he follows you through the course, answers questions about what you just read and remembers what you have told him.
Do I need an account to start?
Yes. You join TNBT, and it is free. You log in with a link and a code sent to your email, no passwords. Then you can take the Entry Check right away.
